I was interested in art as a child and would watch a PBS program on painting.  As an adult, beginning about 2000, I began to paint as therapy and enjoyed it very much. I took lessons from a friend who was an artist and discovered that I had some ability.  From there I began to branch out, practice and learn different techniques. My favorite medium is acrylics because of the quickness in which it dries. My style is bold and colorful and I particularly enjoys landscapes.

In 2013, I began to participate in local arts festivals and have enjoyed the experience, most particularly meeting the other artists and craftsmen and talking to the arts festival visitors.  I have exhibited in The Cedar Valley Arts Festival, Cave Spring Arts Festival, Chiaha Harvest Fair, the Cedar Valley Art Lovers League and the Roswell Arts Festival.
